Rose Anna Marie Hull

McCOOK, Neb. -- Rose Anna Marie Hull, age 78, of McCook, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, in McCook.

Rose was born June 5, 1936, to parents Carl J.G. and Minnie K. (Hofrock) Fritz south of Bartley, Nebraska. Until the age of fifteen, Rose lived in Cedar Bluffs, Kansas. She attended school at Trinity Creek for two years and later graduated from Decatur Community High School in Oberlin, Kansas, in 1954. Rose then moved back to the Bartley area, where she furthered her education by attending McCook Community College.

Rose married Calvin Dixson on Aug. 18, 1957. Two sons were born to this union, Robert and Christopher. The couple later divorced.

On Dec. 24, 1970, Rose married Robert L. Hull in McCook. Robert adopted Roses' two sons and the new family made their home in McCook.

Rose became a member of Peace Lutheran Church in 1955. Rose enjoyed being a health care provider, providing nursing services for individuals through Home Health Care Services. Her hobbies included reading, working puzzles and watching television. She was also known as a wonderful cook and cooked for several restaurants in the area.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Albert and Emil Fritz; and her son, Robert Hull in 1978.

Rose is survived by her son, Christopher Lee and wife, Shelia Hull of Trenton, Nebraska, and a host of friends and relatives.

Memorials are suggested in Rose's Name.

Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at the Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home in McCook.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook with Pastor Tom Albertson, officiating.
