OBERLIN, Kan. -- Mark C. Corcoran, 65, died Saturday (Nov. 1, 2014).

He was born July 27, 1949, in Oberlin, Kansas, to Joe and Irene (Keisner) Corcoran.

He was a Salina Journal carrier, practical nurse and worked at Decatur County Good Sam Society and Cedar Living Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Irene (Keisner) Corcoran.

Survivors include his wife, Paula Corcoran; children, James Altfilish of Oberlin and Steve Corcoran of Oberlin; and sister, Cheryl (Craig) Lampe of Garland, Texas.

Graveside services are Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, 2:30 p.m. at the Oberlin Cemetery.

There is no visitation. Memorials may be given in his name.
