BENKELMAN, Neb. -- Fred Schneider, 66, a long-time Benkelman resident, died Sunday (Oct. 19, 2014), at the Rawlins County Health Center in Atwood, Kansas.

Survivors include her mother, Dottie of Atwood; children, Tyler Carl Schneider of Denver, Colorado, Toby Lee Schneider and wife, Elizabeth of Omaha, Nebraska, and Jesse Dean Schneider and wife, Jodi of Benkelman; sisters, Alice Glasco and husband, Jim of Bayard, Nebraska, Linda Ketzner of St. Francis, Kansas, and Denise Bandel of Wauneta, Nebraska; brothers, Brad Schneider and wife, Linda of Bird City, Kansas, and Curt Schneider of North Platte, Nebraska; and five grandchildren.

Services are Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, at 10:30 a.m.. (MT) at Trinity Baptist Church in Benkelman with the Rev. Paul Folk officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

Memorials may be given in his name.
