Heritage Days royalty candidate names released

McCOOK, Neb. -- The McCook Area Chamber of Commerce has announced candidates for 2014 Heritage Days Royalty: Candidates (in alphabetical order)

Elizabeth Broadfoot is the daughter of Greg and Nancy Broadfoot and is a senior at McCook High School. Elizabeth has been a resident of Red Willow County for 17 years. She is active in tennis, art club, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a cheerleader at McCook High School, on the Merit Roll and is very active with youth activities with her church.

Taylor Geisler is the daughter Brad and Jill Geisler, and a senior at McCook High School. She has been a resident of Red Willow County for 18 years. Taylor is currently president of the Interact Club, Vice President of National Honor Society, active in Math Club, Concert and Marching band, Tennis, Swim Team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, on the Merit Roll, was an MNB Student of the month in 2013, she volunteers in several community events and church activities.

Anna Graff is the daughter of Jon and Ronda Graff and is also a senior at McCook High School. She has been a resident of Red Willow County for 18 years. Anna is active in Cross Country, Swimming, Interact, Track, Thespians, Speech, she is the founder and current president of Creative Writing Club, she was a Rotary Youth Exchange Student to Germany during the 2013-2014 school year, she is also active in her church.

Caleb Griger is the son of Doug and Alicia Griger and is a senior at McCook High School. He has lived in Red Willow County for 1.25 years :). Caleb participates in National Honor Society, Math Club, Key Club, Skills USA, Band, Drumline, Quiz Bowl, and Brain Bowl. Caleb is also on the Honor Roll and is very active in his church.

Emily Karr is the daughter of Darrin and JeriLynn Karr and a senior at McCook High School. She has been a resident of Red Willow County for 15 years. She participates in Drama, Choir, Thespians, Speech and National Honor Society. Emily has received many Outstanding Performance Awards, has been on the Honor and Merit Rolls and is active in various community theater productions.

Bailey Kool is the daughter of Mark and Jennifer Kool and is a senior at McCook High School. She has been a resident of Red Willow County for 17 years. She has participated in Art Club, Interact, Future Business Leaders of America, Swim Team and Cheerleading. Bailey is on the Honor Roll, and is active in activities at her church.

Isaac Langan is the son of Michael and Angela Langan. He is a senior at McCook High School and has been a resident of Red Willow County for 18 years. He is active in Student Council, Speech Team, Future Business Leaders of America, Bison Against Drinking and Drugs, National Honor Society, Math Club, Thespians, Cross Country, Swimming and Diving, and Track. Isaac currently holds the title of 2015 Class President as well as the school mascot. He has received many Outstanding Student and All-State Awards. He is also active in his church and community.

Ashley Laurie is the daughter of Tamela & Dwight Laurie. She has been a resident of Red Willow County for 3 years and is a senior at McCook High School. Ashley is involved in Art Club, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Swim Team, Tennis and Teammates. She has received several leadership awards and is on the Merit Roll. Ashley is also involved in her church, YMCA youth activities and several community projects, including her own personal community service project - Go for the Goal.

Jessica Premer is the daughter of Trevor and Dee Premer. She is a senior at McCook High School, and has been a resident of Red Willow County for 18 years. She is involved in Bison Against Drinking and Drugs, Student Council, Softball, Swim and Dive, Track and Art Club. Jessica has attended Leadership workshops, is on the Honor and Merit Rolls and she is also very active in her church.

Allison Priddy is the daughter of Kim Priddy. She is a senior at McCook High School and has been a resident of Red Willow County for 17 years. She is involved in Choir, Thespians, Volleyball, Speech, Bison Against Drinking and Drugs and is on the Honor and Merit Rolls. Allison is also volunteers in the community and has participated in various community theater productions.

Riley Rambali is the daughter of Darcy and Travi Rambali. She has been homeschooled since she was 4 and will be graduating from Rambali Christian Academy this year. She has been a resident of Red Willow County for 5 years. She has been involved in gymnastics, softball, soccer, dance, basketball, volleyball, plays piano, enjoys songwriting as well as performing. Riley is also very active with youth activities at her church and the YMCA. Riley has received many awards in songwriting competitions including most recently receiving 2nd place overall in Galaxy of Stars Talent Search 2014.

Dania Wiemers is the daughter of Brian and Anne Wiemers. She is a senior at McCook High School, and has been a resident of Red Willow County for 11 years. She is active in Thespians, Choir, "Circle of Friends" a program that works with disabled students. Dania has been awarded "Most Encouraging Person" and "Outstanding Writer" awards. Dania is currently a class member of the Southwest Nebraska Leadership Institute, she volunteered as a counselor at YMCA camp in East Troy, WI and is active in her church.

Erica Wood is the daughter of Paul and Linda Wood. She is a senior at McCook High School, and has been a resident of Red Willow County for 17 years. She is active in Volleyball, Swimming, Track and Field, Interact Club, National Honor Society and Cheerleading. She has received numerous Outstanding awards, is on the Merit Roll, and is active in her church.
