55th anniversary
The family of Richard and Darlene Cole of Culbertson, Nebraska, is requesting a card shower in honor of the couple's 55th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 21, 1959, at First Presbyterian Church in Dodge City, Kansas. They moved to Nebraska in 1972, where both were teachers. Dick later worked at Volz Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning and retired in 1997. Darlene is an avid quilter and both are involved in the Masonic Organizations in McCook, North Platte, Nebraska and Hutchinson, Kansas. Their family includes children, Robert and Jewelene Cole of Hutchinson, Margaret and Rex Pennel of Turon, Kansas, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
