BIRD CITY, Kan. -- Maria Eva Kamla died Sunday (July 13, 2014), at Good Samaritan Society in St. Francis, Kansas.

She was born Aug. 10, 1936 in Munich, Germany.

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L. John Kamla in 2012; son, Brian Kamla in 1997 and three infant children,

Survivors include children, Fred Kamla of Bird City, Monika Bonavia of Olathe, Kansas, sisters, Elisabeth Huber and Monika Kamnerneier, both of Munich, Germany and one grandchild.

Services are 2 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bird City. Burial is at Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 16, 2014, 1 to 7 p.m. at Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis, Kansas. Memorials may be given in her name.
