WAUNETA, Neb. -- Kenny Denker, 81, died Sunday (June 29, 2014), at Imperial Manor Nursing Home in Imperial, Nebraska. He was 81 years of age.

Survivors include his wife, Cleo Denker of Wauneta, Nebraska; children, Kerry Denker of Wauneta, Debbie and husband, Bill Sandman of Utica, Nebraska, and Shelly and husband, Randy Yoder of Wauneta; sisters, Delores Taylor of Wauneta and Diane and husband, Dean Widger of Fort Morgan, Colorado; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are 10 a.m. (MT), on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Redeemer Lutheran Church of Wauneta with the Revs. Keith Wellman and David McCarthey officiating. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta with full military honors.

There is no visitation.
