STRATTON, Neb. -- Douglas "Doug" C. Tucker, 82, died June 25, 2014.

He was born in Sioux City, Iowa June 25, 1932. His mother was Bessie Tucker. He served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Nevada State Elks Association and was State President from 2007-2008.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Tucker; brother, Walt; and daughters, Diedra, Debbie, and Doreen.

Survivors include his wife, Colleen of Stratton; children, Diana Zafranovich of Carson City, Nevada, David Tucker and wife, Bobbie of Whitiker, California and Donald Tucker, Carson City, Nevada; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is Wednesday, July 2, 2014, 10:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Stratton.
