Trista Lynn Thames and Zachary Austin Curl of McCook, Nebraska, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Denise Carfield of McCook and Shawn Thames of Axtell, Nebraska. Grandparents are Janice and Joe Lehman of Midland, Texas, and Karen Steinbeck of Palisade, Nebraska.
Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Kurke and Anissa Curl of McCook. Grandparents are Earl and Letha Svoboda, Butch Curl and Mary Bennett, all of McCook.
The bride-to-be is going to college to be a paramedic and is currently working for Einspahr's.
The prospective bridegroom graduated with an associate of science and art degree and works at D & S as a mechanic.
An Aug. 9, 2014, wedding is planned at the Evangelical Free Church in McCook. The couple plans to honeymoon in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and they will then reside in McCook.
