McCOOK, Neb. -- Jacqueline P. Reichenbach passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014, at Community Hospital in McCook. She was 84 years old.

Jackie was born on Feb. 5, 1930, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to parents, Jacob and Maria Katharina (Schwartzkopf) Schaaf. She attended Hayward Elementary School and later graduated from Lincoln High in 1947. She worked for the State of Nebraska as a lands and funds stenographer.

On April 22, 1951, she was united in marriage to Jack William Reichenbach. They eventually moved to the McCook community in 1963, where Jackie was a busy homemaker and mother of three boys.

Jackie enjoyed bowling, cooking and baking, and getting together for coffee with friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jacob and Maria Schaaf and sister, JoAnn Carroll.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Reichenbach of McCook; three sons, Daniel Reichenbach and wife, Andrea, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Chuck Reichenbach and Robert Reichenbach and wife, Molly, all of Lincoln; three grandchildren; and one sister, Sydonia Chastain of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Memorials may be given to the McCook Humane Society.

A private family service will be on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
