McCOOK, Neb. -- Dennis Robert Frease, age 70, of McCook, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Community Hospital in McCook.

Dennis was born Nov. 1, 1943, in McCook to parents James Charles and Charlotte Viola (Bales) Frease. He was one of seven children.

Dennis enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing. He worked as an electrician with his brother Jack in California. Following his retirement, Dennis lived in Texas before settling in McCook in 2011.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James "Jimmy" and Roger.

He is survived by his longtime partner, Esther Frease; son, Danny Frease; brother, Jack (Anne) Frease of Helendale, California; sisters, Carol Loman of Mobile, Alabama, Fran (Jack) Russell of Greeley, Colorado and Polly Frease of Navarre Beach, Florida; and special granddaughters, Kimberly and Reagan of Houston, Texas. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

Memorial contributions made by made in Dennis' name and are suggested to the Donor's choice.

A memorial service is scheduled for a later date.
