CENTRAL CITY, Neb. -- Judy K. Malleck, 69, of Central City, died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Litzenberg Long Term Care in Central City.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Wagner Funeral Home in Central City. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Indianola Cemetery in Indianola, Nebraska.

Judy was born on April 25, 1945, to Homer and Minnie (Ebert) Ford in McCook, Nebraska. She grew up in Vinton, Iowa and Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She attended schools in those areas.

She was united in marriage to James Marvin Malleck on Oct. 17, 1964, in Oberlin, Kansas. The couple lived in Waterloo, Iowa, and then in Central City, Nebraska. Judy worked at Bethesda and Litzenberg Long Term Care. She also worked at Prioricare and Homecare all in Central City.

Judy enjoyed spending time with friends and family!

She is survived by one son, DeWayne Malleck of Central City; two step-daughters, Debbie Marco and Cythia Petersen of Denver, Colorado; one grandson, Dakota Malleck of Central City; three granddaughters, Lorna Boyd of Genoa, Nebraska, Laurann Boyd of Kearney, Nebraska and Larissa Boyd of Bladen, Nebraska; one great- granddaughter, Zoey Osantowski; three brothers, David (Peggy) Ford, Cris Ford and Burt (Carol) Wark; and one sister, Cheryl (Ed) Howard.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; step mother, Dorothy Ford; daughter in law, Lyla D. Kearney Malleck and step- sister, Pauline Kerr.
