GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska -- Paul Welsh, 46, of Grand Island, former Culbertson resident, died Friday (April 4, 2014), at his home in Grand Island.

He was born June 6, 1967, at Ogallala, Nebraska, to William and Sharon (Packard) Welsh. He graduated from Culbertson High School with the class of 1986.

He worked with Case New Holland in Grand Island for eight years. He had previously worked at Chief manufacturing, where he was involved in building BonnaVilla homes.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Ardath Packard, Elsie and Henry Welsh; two uncles, Donald Welsh and Glen Packard; aunt Shirley Packard and great-uncle, Donald Packard.

Survivors include his parents, William (Sharon) Welsh of Culbertson; brother, Mike (Susan) Welsh of Grand Island; along with other family members.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date. Inurnment will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.
