BENKELMAN, Nebraska -- Christopher Kirby, 17, of Benkelman, died Friday (April 4, 2014), in an auto accident near the rural Chase-Dundy County line.

Survivors include grandparents, Candy Kirby of Venango, Nebraska and John Newby of Boulder, Colorado; parents, Melonie Kirby of Benkelman and Gregg Langley of Greeley, Colorado; step-father, Freddy Torres of Benkelman and brother, Phoenix Torres of Benkelman.

Memorial services are Saturday, April 12, 2014, 12 p.m.. (MT) at Benkelman CommunityBuilding with the Rev. Paul Folk officiating.
