NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska -- Harry Jay Statley, 43, died Tuesday (March 18, 2014) at Kearney, Nebraska.

He was born Sept. 30, 1970, in Brush, Colorado, to Walter and Shirley Statley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Eugene Statley.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Statley of Bird City, Kansas; two brothers, Allen Statley of Brookings, South Dakota, and Charles Statley of Oberlin, Kansas; and sister, Carrie Malcolm of North Platte.

Services are Saturday, March 22, 2 p.m. (CDT) at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Bird City, Kansas. Burial to follow at the Bird City Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday, 1-5 p.m., at the Knodel Funeral Home in St. Francis, Kansas.

Memorials may be given to the Harry Statley Memorial Fund.
