STRATTON, Nebraska -- Terry Lee Sydow age 62 of Stratton passed away on March 14, 2014. He was born in Stratton on Oct. 30, 1951, to Gordon Keith and P. Bettie (Rowe) Sydow. Terry attended and graduated From Stratton High School in 1970.

Terry was involved with farming all his life. He worked as a custom cutting operation traveling from Texas to Montana harvesting wheat and corn.

While working in Texas he met Vicki J. Victory, the couple married on Oct. 19, 1981, in Oberlin, Kansas. To this couple three daughters were born: Brandy, Sherri and Tara.

Terry and Vicki began farming their own ground in 1994. Terry loved to farm and raising cattle. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Stratton. He served many offices in the church and was a trustee.

He was preceded in death by his parent: Gordon and Bettie; a brother; Spencer: in laws: Herb and Eloise Victory.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki of Stratton; daughters, Brandy and husband, Donnie Friend of San Antonio, Texas, Sherri and husband, Jon Hidy of Stratton and Tara Sydow and fiancé, Dustin Hedrick of Kearney, Nebraska; four grandchildren: Lillian, Noah and William Wiese and Harper Hidy: one brother and one sister.

Memorial services will be at the United Methodist Church of Stratton on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Sheila Taylor officiating.
