IMPERIAL, Nebraska -- Edward Havel 75, passed away Tuesday (March 4, 2014), at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.

Survivors include his wife, Karol of Imperial; daughters, Kathy Sramek and husband, Rob of Max, Nebraska, Brenda Hopkins of North Platte, Nebraska and Julie Willis of McCook, Nebraska; son, Brian Havel and wife, Jennifer, of Benkelman, Nebraska; sisters, Beverly Whitnington and husband, Marvin, of Atwood, Kansas, Janis Carson and husband, Gary, of Duncan, Nebraska; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Saturday, March 8, 2014, 10:30 a.m. (MT) at the Benkelman Community Building with the Rev. Phil Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Benkelman Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday morning before services.

Memorials may be given in his name.
