OVERLAND PARK, Kansas -- Luella Caroline Monter, 92, died Wednesday (Feb. 5, 2014), at her home at Rose Estates Assisted Living facility.

She was born on Aug. 20, 1921, in Gosper County, Nebraska, to John and Minnie (Golgart) Puls.

She married Don Monter on Sept.15, 1940.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; two daughters, Deanna Kay and Cara Sue; two grandchildren, one great-grandson and four siblings.

Survivors include her son, Kent Monter and wife, Kathi of Overland Park; sister, Bernice Ransdell of Bloomington, Indiana; five grandchildren, five great- grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe with the Rev. James Moshier officiating. Interment is at Arapahoe Cemetery at Arapahoe.

Viewing and visitation is Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, prior to the service starting at 9:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe.
