Norma L. Hill

LOVELAND, Colorado -- Norma L. Hill passed away on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014, at North Shore Manor.

Norma was born on Dec. 23, 1931, in Culbertson, Nebraska, to Chester and Ada Roberts. She graduated from Culbertson High School in May 1950. Norma married Donald L. Hill on Sept. 3, 1950. They were members of the Methodist Church.

Don and Norma lived in McCook, Nebraska, from September 1950 to December 1969. They moved to Loveland with their three daughters in January 1970.

Norma mostly worked in retail sales for J.C. Penney, Sears, and a couple of women's clothing stores in Mesa, Arizona. She became a realtor in Loveland and also was co-owner of Windstraw Home Improvement and Tops & Bottoms clothing store with her husband, Don. She volunteered at the Loveland Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center during the summer months.

Norma loved to play pinochle and bridge. She also loved to square dance. She was an excellent cook. She enjoyed their second home in Mesa, Arizona, during the winter months.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, a step-mother, a brother, two sisters and two step-sisters.

Norma is survived by her husband, Don; three daughters, Judy Schmidt and husband, Randy, Carol Willis and husband, Bruce, and Suzette Bryant and husband, Rod. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The Celebration of her life will be on Monday, Feb. 17, 1 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
