McCOOK, Nebraska -- Nicole Elizabeth Felker and Jonathan Mitchell Olsen of McCook, Nebraska, were united in marriage Aug. 2, 2013, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in McCook with the Rev. Gary Brethour officiating.
Parents of the bride are Don and Lisa Felker of McCook. Grandparents are Betty Davidson of Indianola, Nebraska, the late Lee Davidson and Gene and Cleta Baumfalk of McCook.
Parents of the bridegroom are Bob and Connie Olsen of McCook. Grandparents are the late Anders and Jeanette Olsen and the late George and Frances Mitchell.
Matron of honor was Andrea Malleck of Indianola.
Bridesmaids were Meghan Lyster of Lawrence, Kansas,Brianna Ward of Emporia, Kansas, Kari Fortin of McCook, Morgan Felker, sister of the bride, of McCook, and Mandie Felker, sister-in-law of the bride, of Milford, Nebraska.
The bride's personal attendant was Melissa Stritt, cousin of the bride, of McCook.
The best man was Marcus Clapp of Phoenix, Arizona. Bridegroomsmen were Jim Olsen, brother of the bridegroom, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Tye Hallowell of McCook, Sam Ord of Pullman, Washington, Seth Vontz of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Dan Gressett of Monroe, Louisiana.
Flower girls were Brooklyn Parsons, cousin of the bride, of Syracuse, Nebraska, and Ellie Siegfried of McCook.
Ring bearers were Wyatt Clapp of Phoenix, Arizona,Carter Cullen of Kansas City, Missouri and Gage Ochsner of Omaha, Nebraska, cousins of the bride.
Ushers were Wade Felker,brother of the bride, of Milford and Ben Siegfried, of McCook.
Guest book and program attendants were Emily and Kate Altman, nieces of the bridegroom, of Lincoln, and Faith Olsen, niece of the bridegroom, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
Soloist was Barbie Long and pianist was Lori Hilker, both of McCook.
The reception was at the Republican River Valley Events Center in McCook. Wedding/reception coordinator was Linda Ruzicka of Stratton, Nebraska. Host couples were Mike and Christy Altman, sister and brother-in-law of the bridegroom of Lincoln, and Tom and Nanci Stritt,uncle and aunt of the bride, of Indianola. DJ was Complete Music of Kearney, Nebraska.
The bride is a graduate of McCook High School and of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing, Kearney, Nebraska, with a bachelor of science Degree in nursing. She is a registered Nurse at Community Hospital in McCook.
The couple honeymooned in Nassau, Bahamas, in early January.
The bridegroom is a graduate of McCook High School and of Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology. He is also a graduate of Emporia State, Emporia, Kansas, with a masters degree in health, P.E. and recreation. He is an instructor, athletic director and head baseball coach at McCook Community College.
The couple lives in McCook with their dog, Wally
