JAN. 1, 2014:

1:28 p.m., 1815 W. Third Street -- a silver Dodge Ram 2500 was reported being seen leaving the scene of an accident on West Third Street. The vehicle struck a telephone box and damaged a gas meter, fence post and trees in the area.

JAN. 5, 2014:

2 a.m., Sports parking lot -- a parked SUV owned by Stephanie M. Allen, 28, Culbertson, Nebraska, was struck by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene. The vehicle was likely a tall sided, boxy vehicle of red or maroon color, according to the accident report.

JAN. 10, 2014:

10:20 p.m., West 10th Street -- a vehicle parked on West 10th Street, owned by Eric M. Scarbrough, age unavailable, 606 West 10th Street, was hit by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene. The impact caused an estimated $2,500 in vehicle damage.

JAN. 13, 2014:

12:00 p.m., 1900 block of West B Street -- a pickup parked at Walmart, owned by Michael Keith Streeter, age unavailable, Thornton, Colorado, was struck by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene.

JAN. 16, 2014:

8:10 a.m., East C Street -- vehicles driven by Amanda J. Bales, 27, 1009 W. Second Street, and Glen Ralston, 58, 206 E. Fifth Street, collided at the intersection of East 10th and East C Street. The collision caused an estimated $4,000 in combined vehicle damage.

JAN. 21, 2014:

8:00 a.m., W. Third Street -- vehicles driven by Charlene K. Neel, 30, 813 West J Street, and Vera D. Labay, 16, 807 W. Fifth Street, collided at the intersection of W. Third Street and West H Street. A 4-year-old child in Neel's vehicle was transported to Community Hospital after a car seat reportedl failed.

JAN. 22, 2014:

12:52 p.m., Federal Avenue -- an SUV driven by Alex Roe, 18, 414 Seminole Drive, struck the rear of an SUV driven by Deborah J. James, 46, 38696 Drive 713, at the intersection of West B Street and Federal Avenue. The impact caused an estimated $4,000 in combined vehicle damage.

JAN. 24, 2014:

8:27 p.m., East Third Street -- a vehicle driven by Justin W. Bright, 34, Culbertson, Nebraska, while backing from a driveway struck a parked vehicle owned by Tiffanie C. Schlink, age/address unavailable, causing an estimated $4,500 in combined vehicle damage.

JAN. 26, 2014:

2:09 p.m., 704 West B Street -- a vehicle driven by Douglas F. Vap, 74, 109 East N Street, struck a brick wall at the West Casey's convenience store, breaking in the wall and shattering window glass, causing an estimated $20,000 in damage to the building. Vap indicated he mistakingly hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.

3:05 p.m., North U.S. Highway 83 -- vehicles entering U.S. Highway 83 from separate parking lots collided causing an estimated $1,000 in combined vehicle damage. An SUV driven by Julie Wilhelmson, 36, 71886 Calabria Drive, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Justin L. Hobbs, 22, Bartley, Nebraska.
