McCOOK, Nebraska -- Becky Jane Lepper, age 64, passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at Community Hospital of McCook.

Becky was born in Imperial, Nebraska, to Lauren James and Ella Lucille (Eskew) McConnell on Sept. 7, 1949.

She married George Piper on May 26, 1967, in Minden. To this union three children were born.

She married Robert Lepper in McCook on Dec. 12, 1998.

Becky worked for McCook Public Schools in the school cafeteria for 20 years. In her free time she enjoyed scrapbooking and reading.

Survivors include her daughter, Laurie Brown of McCook; sons, George Piper of Tecumseh, Wayne Piper of McCook; step-sons, DeWayne Lepper of McCook, Clifford Lepper of Los Angeles, California, and Donny Lepper of Indianola; brothers, Craig McConnell and wife, Kay, Scott McConnell and wife, Linda all of McCook; sisters, Marralee McBee and Jeanie Fallis and husband, Chris all of McCook; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, George Piper and Robert Lepper.

Memorial services will be Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at 2p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating, inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery will follow.

Memorials may be given to the charity of one's choice in Becky's name.
