WAUNETA, Nebraska -- Dorothea Fanning, 83, died Tuesday (Jan. 28, 2014), at the Sunrise Heights Nursing Home in Wauneta.

Survivors include children, Vicki Baker and husband, Bill of Palisade, Nebraska and Craig Fanning and wife, Jo of Wauneta; daughter-in-law, Patti Fanning of Wauneta; sister, Bernice Kunnemann and husband, Delbert of Billings, Montana; brother, Dwight Keller and wife, Monica of Lakewood, Colorado; sister-in-law, Arleen Prince of Kimball, Nebraska; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited 6:30 p.m. (MT), Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at St. John's Catholic Church in Wauneta with the Rev. Lothar Gilde officiating.

A Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. (MT), Saturday, Febr. 1, 2104, at St. John's Catholic Church in Wauneta with the Rev. Lothar Gilde celebrating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Wauneta.

Visitation is Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, from 2-6 p.m. (MT) at the funeral home in Wauneta.

Memorials may be given in her name.
