HERNDON, Kansas -- Cleta Joy Riepl, 82, died Thursday (Jan. 2, 2014), at Aurora, Colorado.

She was born Aug. 22, 1931, in Selden, Kansas, to Guy and Irma G. (Carswell) Geisenhener.

She married Donald C. Riepl. She was a clerical staff worker for the City of Aurora, Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; parents; and sister, Glenda.

Survivors include sons, Lynn Riepl of Aurora and Daniel and wife, Lindsey Riepl of Pratt, Kansas; daughters, Karen Sannella and Diane Riepl, both of Aurora; two sisters, Eula Juenemann of Oberlin and Marjorie Rorie of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, 12:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery in Herndon with Deacon Mark Vrbas officiating. Interment is at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Herndon.

Scripture Service is Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at 12 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Herndon.
