Delma Faye (Keeney) Quaduor

INDIANOLA, Nebraska -- Delma Faye (Keeney) Quaduor, age 99, of Indianola, passed away at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCook, Nebraska on Jan. 2, 2014.

She was born May 3, 1914, in Belvedere, Nebraska, to William and Bulah May (House) Keeney.

She grew up in the Denver and Indianola area and married Rudolph E. Quaduor in McCook on Sept. 11, 1929. They made their home a on a farm southeast of Indianola until the time of their deaths.

She was a member of the Danbury Presbyterian Church.

She enjoyed making quilts with the Beaver Valley quilt club. She loved to play cards, go to the YMCA, grow flowers, take bus trips to Rosebud and baking and cooking. She was especially known for her long john rolls and Christmas candy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy; son, Edward; daughter, Gwendolyn Farr and son-in-law, Kenneth Farr, her parents, William and Bulah Kenney; sister, Violet Wood and brothers, Loren and Dale Keeney.

Survivors include her son, Robert H. and wife, Connie Rae of Indianola; sister, Wilma McGinnis of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Dorothy Keeney of North Platte and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home of McCook.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Keith Theobald officiating. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Danbury Presbyterian Church or the Beaver Valley Fire Department.
