LITTLETON, Colorado -- Betty Jo Warner, 85, of Littleton, Colorado formerly of Beaver City, Nebraska, died Monday (Dec. 30, 2013), at Millbrook Home Portland Place in Littleton.

She was born on May 7, 1928, at Beaver City to Clifford and Beryl (Goble) Strickland. She graduated from Beaver City High School in 1945 and began working at First State Bank of Beaver City, where she retired after 46 years.

She married Dale (Seal) Warner on Aug. 25, 1950. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Beaver City her entire life and was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

In May of 2010, she moved to Littleton and later moved to Millbrook Assisted Living in Littleton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Seal; brother, Strick and wife, Bonnie; sister, Shirley and husband, Jim; and one great-granddaughter, Hope.

Survivors include her three children, Bob and wife, Claudette Warner of Littleton, Tricia and husband, Ron Mehling of Burlington, Colorado and Kathy Slansky of Beaver City; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Beaver City with the Rev. Keith Theobald officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery at Beaver City.

There is no visitation. Memorials may be given to the National Alzheimer's Association.
