Joanne Antionette Laumann
STRATTON, Nebraska --Joanne Antionette Laumann, 70, of Stratton passed away Monday (Nov. 25, 2013) in Loveland, Colorado.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratton. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow with Father Thomas Wiedel officiating. Burial to follow at Benkelman Cemetery in Benkelman, Nebraska.
Joanne was born Feb. 9, 1943, in Stratton to Albert D. and Antionette M. Faimon Laumann. She graduated from high school and continued her education for another year. She moved to Denver, Colorado, and owned and operated a beauty shop, then moved to Kansas City, Missouri, and was a CNA nurse working in the hospital.
Joanne is survived by brother Ted W. Laumann of Sterling, Colorado; nieces and nephews, Chris Crall of Boulder, Colorado, Joni Paxton and husband, Donald of Sidney, Nebraska, and Steve Laumann and wife, Jody of Peach Tree, Georgia.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society in Stratton in her memory.
