BENKELMAN, Nebraska -- Dan Boon, 51, died Sunday (Nov. 24, 2013), at the Dundy County Hospital in Benkelman.
Survivors include his fiancé, Monica Peterson and children, Michael and Rebekah of Benkelman; son, Jeremy Boon of Sidney, Nebraska, daughter, Tasha Boon of Omaha, Nebraska; brother, Ralph and wife, Shary Boon of Max, Nebraska; sisters, Patricia and husband, Blaine Garrelts of Brady, Nebraska, Peggy Hodges of North Platte, Nebraska, Agnes and husband, Mac McFarlane of Berthoud, Colorado, Denise Hinton of Thorton, Colorado, and Susan Boon of Winsor, Colorado, and brother, Samuel and wife, Melanie Boon of Fairmont, Nebraska.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. (MT), Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at the Benkelman Community Building with the Rev. Phil Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Benkelman Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, from 2-6 p.m. (MT) at the Benkelman Community Building.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
