McCOOK, Nebraska -- Nancy M. Johnson, 84, of McCook died today (Nov. 20, 2013), at Hillcrest Nursing Home. She was born Grand Island, Nebraska, on June 16, 1929, to William and Anna Goodman. She graduated from Lincoln High School.

In 1951, she marrried Gordon Johnson in Lincoln, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on March 14, 2011. The couple moved to McCook in 1960, where they owned the McCook TV and Hi-Fi store. The couple retired in 1991.

She was a member of the American Lutheran Church.

Memorial services are planned for Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 at 5 p.m.at the Herrmann-Jones Memorial Chapel in McCook. Interment will Monday, Nov.25, 2013, 2 p.m. in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.

Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook is in charge of arrangements.
