The family of Ron and Jerry Temple of Norcatur, Kansas, are hosting an open house in honor of the couple's 60th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 12, 1953, at St Joseph Catholic Church in Hays, Kansas. The couple has lived their entire married life on the Nebraska/Kansas border. The open house is Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, 1-3 p.m. at the Norcatur United Methodist Church Educational Building, 126 E. Olathe in Norcatur. Their family includes children, Marcia Wyrens of Ceresco, Nebraska, Suzanne Cahoj of Atwood, Kansas, Lisa Rhodes and Tracey Hartzog of Norcatur, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
