Worthy project

Dear McCook Community:

We just want to take a moment to thank everyone who was involved in making our recent "Light Up the Fox" concert a rousing success. We'll try to be brief.

To Charles Coleman and the Fox Theater Alliance-you have done a wonderful job in the restoration of the Fox Theater. We were fortunate enough to perform in the theater before the renovation and then last week after, and we all said that you didn't change the "feel" of the room. Congratulations!

We especially want to thank the McCook Daily Gazette newspaper, KICX/KBRL along with KIOD/KSWN for your promotional sponsorship. You made it all happen.

Finally, we want to thank the community of McCook for your support. We had a great time-we hope you did too. Live music is alive and well in McCook and we were honored that you came to the show and contributed to the Fox Lighting project. But this was just a start. Charles and the Alliance have a long way to go so please consider a gift to them and help complete this most worthy project.
