Campaign for Cancer Care

Friday, October 25, 2013

T-shirts made by Gary's Country Peddler in McCook to celebrate the fight against cancer are a big hit among students at St. Patrick's School in McCook. A portion of the sales of the shirts, hoodies and long-sleeved sweatshirts will be donated to Community Hospital's Campaign for Cancer Care, to help bring a radiation oncology treatment to Community Hospital in McCook. Other area schools participating include Southwest, Hayes Center, Hitchcock County, Oberlin, Wauneta/Palisade and Medicine Valley. Shown first row, from left, are Maddy Hinze, Elizabeth Barenberg, Jackie Hinze, Aiden Barger, Emily Vontz and Brooke Stewart. Back row, from left, are Madison Boardman, Erika Fisher, Riley Sis, Cassidy Redl, Holly Stagemeyer, Monique Witt and Laurel Schmidt.
