Elsie A. Winder

OBERLIN, Kansas -- Elsie A. Winder, 81, of Oberlin, died Friday (Oct. 4, 2013), at Deseret Nursing Home in Kensington, Kansas.

She was born July 16, 1932, in Cope, Colorado, to William Fanklin and Fiona Mable (Logue) Craig. She graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1950.

She married Earl Winder on May 20, 1950. She was a homemaker and assisted her husband with Winder Tree Service.

She was a member of the United Church of Oberlin and Rebekah Lodge.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Earl in 2013; son, Evan Winder; brothers, Floyd, Duane, Farrold, Jim and Fred Craig; and sisters, Peggy Gillette, Ella Richter and Florence Hatfield.

Survivors include children, Bruce Winder of Oberlin, Kent Winder of Joplin, Missouri, and Jerri Lee (Bob) Fogg of Riverside, California; sister, Darlene Hilton of San Diego, California; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren,

Services are Monday, Oct. 14, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin with the Rev. Bill Duncan officiating. Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 to 8 p.m. and Monday, 8 a.m. until service time.

Memorials may be given in her name.
