OBERLIN, Kansas -- Deanna Kay "Dee" McDougal, 75, died Tuesday (Aug. 27, 2013), at Cedar Living Center in Oberlin.
She was born June 21, 1938, in Oberlin to Harley and Margaret Muriel (Gallatin) Woodside.
She attended Oberlin Elementary and Decatur Community High School
Her former husband was Leland Anderson and she married Ron McDougal Jan. 5, 1974, in Atwood. She was a certified nursing assistant.
She was a member of United Church of Oberlin.
She was preceded in death by parents, Harley and Margaret Woodside; brother, Darrel Woodside and sisters, Dolores Smith and Donna Shafer.
Survivors include husband, Ron McDougal of Oberlin, sons, Mel Pelkey of Atwood and Garret and wife, Heather McDougal of Oberlin; daughters, Vicki and husband, Ray Karnes of McPherson, Kansas, Lana and husband, Dean Carter of Augusta, Kansas, Gail and husband, Rick Smith of Atwood, Nora and husband, Bill Urban of Oberlin and Amy and husband, Troy Haas of Oberlin; sister, Denise Kenny of Canton, Ohio; 24 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren
Services are Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Pauls Funeral Home with the Rev. Judi Stricker officiating. Interment is at Oberlin Cemetery
Visitation is Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. until service time
