ATWOOD, Kansas -- Bethel Jean (Eller) Stolte, 87, died Thursday (Aug. 8, 2013), at Good Samaritan Society in Atwood.

She was born Aug. 12, 1925, to Cleveland H. and Ruth I. (Jessee) Eller in Stratton, Nebraska. She graduated from Stratton High School in 1942 and worked as a bookkeeper for Kellogg Chevy Co. until she married Gustav Stolte on Dec. 26, 1951, in Stratton.

They lived north of Ludell, Kansas. She moved to Atwood in 1993 and to the Good Samaritan Society in 2008.

She was a member of Trinity and Redeemer Lutheran LWML and the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Ruth; husband, Gus; brother, Gerald; and sister-in-law, Jackie.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews, special friend and caregiver and numerous friends.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Redeemer Church in Atwood, Kansas with the Rev. Rick Kostek officiating. Interment is at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Ludell, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Redeemer Choir or the Good Samartian Society in Atwood.
