Accidents

JULY 25, 2013:

11:47 a.m., West U.S. Highway 6 and 34 -- a vehicle driven by Jamie L. Oltman, 26, 302 W. Seventh Street No. 7, struck the rear corner of a pickup driven by Shirley Y. Hudson, 89, Stratton, Nebraska, at the intersecion of U.S. Highway 6 and 34 and the Walmart entrance. The collision caused an estimated $5,000 in vehicle damage.

7:37 p.m., 1306 East A Street -- a pickup driven by Lonnie Moon, 57, 1306 East A Street, backed out of a driveway and struck a parked van owned by Danelle M. Arden, age unavailable, 1007 W. Second Street, causing an estimated $2,700 in combined vehicle damage.

JULY 28, 2013:

800 block of East E Street -- between the hours of 11 p.m. on July 27 and 8 a.m. on July 28, 2013, an SUV owned by Shonda Jacobs, age unavailable, 801 East E Street, was hit by an unknown vehicle causing an estimated $4,000 in vehicle damage.

7:26 p.m., 900 block of East E Street -- a vehicle driven by Nicole M. Klie, 23, 902 East E Street, while backing from a parking space, struck a parked van owned by James K. Rowe, 48, 902 East E Street, causing an estimated $2,300 in combined vehicle damage.
