Cheer camp

The McCook High School cheerleaders attended the Universal Cheer Association camp at the University of Nebraska Kearney. They received two excellent and one superior rating for their performances during camp. They also received the coveted "SPIRIT Stick" every day. On the final day, the team brought home two championship trophies for their performance of the camp cheer and their overall "game day" performance, which included a cheer, a sideline chant and a dance. The girls received a trophy for their overall improvement over the camp and two ribbons for their knowledge of athletics. 2013-14 cheerleaders include, first row from left, Libby Broadfoot, Mackenzie Esch, Camden Funk, Hannah Esch, co-captain, Paige Terry, Kellie Neises. Back row , Johsette Witte, Hayley Werkmeister, Katie Kjendal, Hannah Goodenberger, McKenzie Crowe co-captain, Bailey Kool and Kylie Peters.
