CAMBRIDGE, Nebraska -- Zelda Elaine Current, 75, died July 31, 2013, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1937, to Ted and Christina (Herman) Current in Stockville, Nebraska.

She graduated from Stockville High School in 1955. She attended McCook Community College and Peru State College and graduated with a Master's degree in education. After teaching grade school for 29 years, she went back to college for her massage therapy license. She worked as a massage therapist for 15 years in McCook.

She is preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Steve Herrick; nieces, Katie Jo Herrick, and Zalia Mae Herrick.

She is survived by brother, Leonard (Diane) Current of Hershey, Nebraska; sister, Arlene Sass of Stockville; many nieces and nephews along with many extended family and friends.

Funeral services are Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, 10:30 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Stockville with Mike Searcey officiating. Internment is at the Arbor Cemetery in Stockville.

Visitation is Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Blase-Wetzel-Strauser Memorial Chapel, 315 Center Ave., in Curtis, Nebraska.
