LEBANON, Missouri -- Carole Ann Sagel, 70, of Lebanon, Missouri, was born Jan. 27, 1943, in Williamsport, Indiana, and passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013, near Lebanon, Missouri.

She was survived by three sons, Darwin Sagel, and his wife, Cindy, of Monett, Missouri, Darin Sagel, and his wife, Amy, of Fort Morgan, Colorado and Devin Sagel, and his wife, Lindsey, of Falcon, Missouri; four grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Klayton, and Hailey; her mother, Elsie Lang, of Lebanon, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Clifford Lang; her husband, Leonard D. Sagel; and a brother, Gary Lang.

Carole was raised in Bartley, Nebraska, and graduated from Bartley High School. She then attended college for two years. She had worked on a farm in Colorado for a few years and then moved to Lebanon, Missouri, about 14 years ago.

In addition to being a devoted homemaker, she had worked as a graphic designer and was employed by the Lebanon Daily Record for several years.

Private family services will be at a later date under the care and direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
