BENKELMAN, Nebraska -- Bill Billington, 85, a longtime Benkelman resident, died Monday (July 15, 2013), at the Imperial Manor Nursing Home, Imperial, Nebraska.

Survivors include children, Timothy L. Billington of McCook, Nebraska, the Rev. Steven E. Billington and wife, Debra Jenner-Billington of Unadilla, Nebraska and Jayne M. Bauerle and husband, David E. of Champion, Nebraska; brother, Eugene Billington and wife, Ruby of Eugene, Oregon; sister, Betty Amsberry of Snyder, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Adele Richard of Benkelman and Arlene Billington of Atwood, Kansas; brothers-in-law, Mearle Richard of Imperial, Leonard Richard and wife, Joan of St. Francis, Kansas and Don Whitmore and wife, Phyllis of St. Francis; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services is Thursday, July 18, 2013, 10 a.m. (MT) at the Crossroads Wesleyan Church of Imperial with the Rev. Phil Harris officiating. Graveside inurnment services are 10 a.m. (MT) Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Benkelman Cemetery with the Rev. George Matthews officiating.

No visitation; cremation was chosen.
