SELDEN, Kansas -- Stephen C. Kruse, 50, died May 27, 2013, at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.

He was born March 24, 1963, in Hoxie, Kansas, to Marlin and Irene (Heim) Kruse.

He attended Golden Plains Junior/Senior High School and NCK Technical College in Beloit.

He was an electrician.

He was preceded in death by parents, Marlin and Irene Kruse; special friend, Wanda Hanson and two nephews, Christopher Kruse and Nicholas McGee

He is survived by four brothers, Bernard of Hoisington, Kansas, John (Cindy) of Arvada, Colorado, Mike of Selden and Dan (Penny) of Joplin, Missouri; six sisters, Marlene Tignor and Donna McGee, both of Olathe, Kansas, Pattye (Mike) Brown of Joplin, Mary (Gary) Deyle of Imperial, Nebraska, Susanne (Steve) Johnson of New Braunfels, Texas and and Christina (Allan) Immelman of Lisle, Illinois.

A memorial service is Saturday, June 22, 2013, 2 p.m. at Selden Community Center in Selden. Interment is at the Selden Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Selden Community Center and Sacred Heart Parish Hall.
