WAUNETA, Nebraska -- Viola Fanning, 87, long-time resident of Wauneta, died today (May 2, 2013), at the Sunrise Heights Nursing Home in Wauneta.

Funeral services are Monday, May 6, 2013, 1 p.m. (MT) at Liewer Funeral Home in Wauneta with Melody Newman, lay pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta.

Visitation will be Monday morning before services.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
