McCOOK, Nebraska--McCook Clinic, P.C. and Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy recently donated $3,930 raised from sports physicals to the McCook Bison Boosters program. McCook physicians, physician assistants and Community Hospital's physical therapy department, Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy, conducted 262 athletic physicals last year for the McCook Public Schools student athletes.

"The Bison Boosters appreciate the donation and the ongoing support of the McCook Clinic and Southwest Nebraska Physical Therapy in ensuring the health and wellness of our children," said Bob Elder, Bison Booster President. He said the money helps support McCook Public Schools athletic programs. Projects the Bison Boosters have funded over the years include the locker room project, track, new concession building at Weiland Field, tennis courts, record boards at the high school, needs for the coaches the budget doesn't cover, new weight room and equipment, and travel equipment for all sports.

Parents should note that the next sports physicals are scheduled for Wednesday, May 1.
