ARAPAHOE, Nebraska -- Freda Conrad, 96, of Riverton, Wyoming, died Sunday (April 28, 2013), at the C.A. Mues Good Samaritan Center of Arapahoe.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1916, on the family farm near Iberia, Missouri, to Herbert and Bertha (Martin) Ferguson.

She grew up in Missouri with her two brothers. On August 19, 1933, she married James Conrad in Clinton, Missouri. In 1953, the family moved to Riverton, Wyoming. She worked as a farm wife raising her family. Later she worked at the post office in Big Piney, at the Riverton Ranger in the Print Shop and at tourist shops in Jackson, Wyoming.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James in January 1980; her parents, and her brothers, Bill and Bob Ferguson.

She is survived by her daughter, Bette (Charles) Moshier of Riverton, Wyoming; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchilren.

Services are scheduled for June 4, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. James Moshier with Trinity Lutheran Church in Arapahoe officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
