POWELL, Wyoming -- Beverly B. (Hatcher) Bernatchy, 87, formerly of McCook, died Jan. 12, 2013.

She graduated from Red Willow High School in 1942, and attended McCook Junior College in McCook, Nebraska, graduating in 1944.

From 1944-45, she worked as file clerk, civil service, at McCook Air Base and as a stenographer at McCook Housing. She retired in 1990 as a secretary/bookkeeper from the Eastern Wyoming Area Agency on Aging in Casper, Wyoming.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Craig F. Bernatchy; and brothers-in-law, Don Nelms and Clarence Hotze.

She is survived by her son Arnold (Teri) Bernatchy of Butte, Montona; Cynthia Stewart of Powell; sisters, Shirley Nelms of McCook, Nebraska, and Helen Hotze of Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook. A reception will follow at the Bieroc Cafe in McCook.
