ARAPAHOE, Nebraska -- Dean Eugene Huxoll, 50, of Arapahoe, died Tuesday (March 19, 2013), at Cambridge Hospital in Cambridge, Nebraska.

He was born March 24, 1962, at Cambridge, Nebraska, to Norman and Dorothy (Riepe) Huxoll.

He attended country school before going to Eustis, Nebraska, for school. He graduated from Holbrook High School in 1980. After high school, he started college at Sidney, Nebraska. He worked at several construction jobs including building tennis courts in Denver, Colorado and for Pearson Construction. He worked on the family farm for most of his life and worked for several other farmers.

He married Kammi Huxoll on August 28, 2010.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Louise Huxoll and Harry and Ella Riepe; mother-in-law, Marge Avary-Horn, father-in-law, Gilbert Horn, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He is survived by his wife Kammi Huxoll of Arapahoe, Nebraska; daughter, Mandy Huxoll and Chris Haveman of Cambridge, Nebraska; step-daughter, Jessica Huxoll of McCook, Nebraska; parents, Norman and Dorothy Huxoll of Holbrook, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Gary Avary and wife, Audry of Rapid City, South Dakota and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Elwood, Nebraska with the Rev. Mary Fuller officiating. Inurnment will then be at a later date.

No viewing or visitation as cremation was chosen.
