McCOOK, Nebraska -- Dr. John Batty died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at McCook Community Hospital. He was 98 years old.

Dr. Batty's two sons are holding a memorial service for their father on Saturday, April 6 at 11 a.m., in the First Congregational Church, McCook, NE. Steve and Paul would like to invite friends and past patients of their father to celebrate his long and joyous life. There will be a luncheon following the service.
