WAUNETA, Nebraska -- Kent Doetker, 70, a longtime resident of Wauneta, died Friday (Feb.15, 2013), at the Sunrise Heights of Wauneta.

Survivors include: sons, Jed Doetker and wife, DeAnn Kelly Doetker and wife, Dawn and brother, Loren Doetker and wife, Karen , all of Wauneta and five grandchildren.

Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. (MT), Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at the United Methodist Church of Wauneta with the Rev. Bonnie McCord officiating. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, in Wauneta with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post No.304 in Wauneta.

There will be no visitation; cremation was chosen.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the United Methodist Church of Wauneta, in his name.
