LAKEWOOD, Colorado -- Maralyn Courange died Wednesday (Feb. 14, 2013), at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood.
She was born July 20, 1936, to Valti and Ida (Montgomery) Magers in Oberlin, Kansas.
She was raised in Decatur County. She attended Traer grade school and graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1954.
She lived in Denver, Colorado until 1961, in McCook, Nebrasak until 1962, California until 1968 and moved back to Decatur County.
She married Warren Ware in 1957. She married Ivan Courange March 18, 1961, in McCook. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Courange and son, Rocky Courange.
Survivors include sons, Brad Ware of Gettsburg, Colorado, Kirk Ware and Clayton Courange, both of Oberlin; daughter, Kelly Brown of Scott City, Kansas; sisters, Candy McLerran and husband, Rob Sapula of Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren,
Services were today, Feb. 18, 2013, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Herndon, Kansas, at 9 a.m. with the Rev. Nick Parker officiating.
Interment was at the Oberlin Cemetery.
Visitation was Sunday and today.
Memorials may be given in her name.
