GREGORY, South Dakota -- Martin F. Thompson, 92, formerly of McCook, died Feb. 7, 2013, at Gregory.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda M. Thompson; sons, Martin Gene Thompson and Martin F. Thompson Jr.; brothers, Leonard, Glen, Melvin, Bill, Robert and John; and sister, Irene.

Survivors include sons, Melvin Werth (Vonda) of South Carolina, David Thompson (Debbie) of Papillion, Nebraska; daughters, Linda West and Nancy Martinson (Roger) of Omaha, Debbie Sinclair (Scott) of Sidney, Nebraska; brother, Bert Thompson; daughter-in-law, Jodeen Thompson of Waterloo, Nebraska, numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren: nieces, nephews and friends. He was a member of Bee Hive Lodge No. 184 A. F. & A.M., Jason Waite W.M., Scottish Rite, and Past Potentate Tangier Shrine.

Funeral services were Monday at Roeder Mortuary Street Chapel. Interment was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Omaha.

Visitation was Sunday at Roeder Mortuary in Omaha. Masonic service was Sunday with Jim Parks, Sr., Past Potentate.

Memorials may be given to to Tangier Shrine Transportation Fund or the charity of your choice .

Roeder Mortuary in Omaha was in charge of arrangements.
